我们将 this 和 these 用于 here （附近）的事物。 This 是单数，these是复数。
This is my new phone. 这是我的新手机。 These are my new classmates Jessy and Johnny. 这是我的新同学杰西和约翰尼。
that, those (那个,那些)
我们将 that 和 those 用于 there（不在附近）的东西。 That 是单数，those 是复数。
That store is very creepy. 那家商店非常令人毛骨悚然。 She wants those books on the stand. 她想要书架上的那些书。
接名词还是不接名词?
我们可以使用 this、that、these、those 后面接名词（ this box、that car…等）或不接名词。
This pen is very expensive. 这支钢笔很贵。 I like that girl in the store. 我喜欢店里的那个女孩。 Who is that? (= that person) 那是谁？ ‘What are those?’ ‘They are old maps.’ “那些是什么？” “它们是旧地图。”
